You Are 64% Open Minded
|

You are a very open minded person, but you're also well grounded.
Tolerant and flexible, you appreciate most lifestyles and viewpoints.
But you also know where you stand firm, and you can draw that line.
You're open to considering every possibility - but in the end, you stand true to yourself.

You Feel Like Summer
|

Right now, you are filled with energy and excitement.
You feel like you are finally living the life you've always wanted... and you can barely believe it.
You are thriving and making progress. You feel like you can take on any challenge.
You are extremely happy and upbeat. You enjoy every part of your day, and you love the adventure of life.
|
It's not the best of times though... Running so many errands in a day. Imagine playing cards. Whether you have a good or bad hand, the aim is to win. The difference is of course, it is easier to win if you get a good hand. If you get a not-so-good hand, you strategize to maximise your chance. You take risks. So at the end of the day, we cannot change the cards we are dealt, just how we play the hand.
How do you play yours?

| This post is for those who are crazy enough to hop on a bus to KL from KB over the weekend and back...
Last Thursday, Malaysian Hospitality and I took a bus to KL and reached Putra Station the following morning. Soon after that, we boarded the LRT to Masjid Jamek. At MJ, we exchanged LRT to go to Universiti and nearly got lost... Eventually we reached Universiti station and then took a taxi to 6th College. SockaLingam then took me to the dining hall where I took my breakfast of bread and butter and bread and kaya and bread and jam and bread and teh tarik whilst Malaysian Hospitality opted to sleep in SockaLingam's room. So after breakfast I had more than 40 winks at the TV room.
Sometime after 10, SockaLingam showed Malaysian Hospitality and I the way to the taxi stand after winding thru the hospital (why do they have DeliFrance when we only have mi goreng cap mak cik???). The fare to MidValley was around RM7 so if you pay more, you know you've been scammed. There I nearly blew my fortune on clothes at Jusco when sanity prevailed... but not for long... When I got out of Jusco my wallet got inevitably thinner by the hour... And soon after, I had 2 wallets: I'd decided it's time for the former to retire. Thanks to Malaysian Hospitality, I visited the Pet Station twice.
After lunch, we did the worst thing you could expect to do in KTM: board a cabin full of commuters. So there we were like sardines - minus the tomato sauce and preservatives... It was the exact thing when we got on the Monorail to Times Square. At TS, I waited for Xplosive Vinaigrette whilst immersing myself in a book. When she found me after rummaging thru the imaginary pile of books, she insisted she owed me a meal she promised (which I dont recall but hey, a free meal is welcome any day!) and so we sat at KFC when Lollipop called. After Lollipop had joined us, the escort team just kept getting bigger... (They can't afford to risk the VIP's life, can they?) I was absolutely excited to see Pokemon after missing him for the past 2 months! And then Computerised Tomograpy showed up. And we went to Krispy Kreme and snacked upstairs.
Till dinnertime. Malaysian Hospitality had already met up with SockaLingam and another friend Wombat Man, and was waiting for the 5 of us at Food nTea. How everyone was related to each other was soon demystified as we told each other how we met the rest at some points of our lives... After dinner, Malaysian Hospitality went back to Uni with SockaLingam. Computerise Tomography had to go catch a bus to Ipoh. Meanwhile, Pokemon, Xplosive Vinaigrette, Wombat Man and I took a taxi back to UKM. Xplosive Vinaigrette showed me the canteen then bade goodbye... Gonna be missing her... Pokemon took me to his room after showing me around and finally he drove us to Prima Setapak. Had a sojourn at KFC because Jackfruit mengidam cheezy wedges... Had the cashier throw in some extra cheeze because I suspect Jackfruit was secretly craving for the cheeze...
Jackfruit showed me the aerial view of KL from her condo and we caught up with each other about the news in our lives for a while at the balcony...
Not long after that, Pokemon called. Jackfruit gave me the liberty to return however late I wanted to and passed me her keys... We rejoined Wombat Man and a bout a dozen of us had gathered. They guzzled a bottle of Absolut and another Gao Liang as soon as they were whipped out!
On the following morning, after breakfast with Pretty Cinderella, SockaLingam, Malaysian Hospitality and I went to the Convention Centre to buy cheap books at the book fair. I had time to spare so I window-shopped at Suria before going back to Uni. Had dinner at KFC (again... why this affiliation with KFC???) and then took a taxi to Putra station. We were a tad early so yeah this time, we went to McD instead of KFC.
So there you have it. If you think you are creative enough to beat my story, go ahead! Let me know about your adventure! The sky is the limit yo!!!

| Today's games session for Christian Fellowship's Welcoming Night was a blast! Praise God!
I was so nervous prior to that but God assured me it's gonna be the night! I stayed relaxed throughout the night and when I ran out of energy, God sent angels to take over the mic from me... It was so smooth and happened so naturally although the running out of energy part was not part of the plan...
Thank you Lord for everything!!! Though each of us are far away from home and family, You showed us that you will never leave us!

| I set out on a narrow way many years ago Hoping I would find true love along the broken road But I got lost a time or two Wiped my brow and kept pushing through I couldn't see how every sign pointed straight to you
I think about the years I've spent just passing through I'd like to have the time I lost and give it back to you But you just smile and take my hand You've been there, you understand Its all part of a grander plan that is coming true
That every long lost dream led me to where you are Others who broke my heart; they were like northern stars Pointing me on my way into your loving arms This much I know is true That God blessed the broken road that led me straight to you
